In case you are wondering, the above pix features fresh cooked, local market snow peas & carrots, savoury whipped potatoes, oven baked meat pie, local pears cooked in syrup and Wendy's oven baked custard.
Before we check out RR2's interior, just a few pix of some of the camperised vehicles we used to explore as we loved to do. The very first vehicle on the left (Holden FC Utility) shows the simplest of all; not that comfortable for sleeping to be sure but it kept us off the ground away from the ants, snakes and spiders and when you were as young as we were, who cares; making love was still great and kind of cosy under the tarpaulin at night.
Using a two burner, folding propane stove, we cooked fine meals on the dropped down tailgate at the rear.
All the basic camping gear was kept in the back under a fitted tarpaulin when travelling but most was removed to the front cab at night to allow us to unroll a very comfy 6- inch thick foam bed under the "tarp;" some of the "Tarp" was rolled back overhead and a mosquito netting took it's place so we could view the stars and in Australia's southern hemisphere, there are lots to look at.
